Hurricane Sandy Relief

Hurricane Sandy devastated some nearby neighborhoods, including Breezy Point, Broad Channel, Belle Harbor, and several others.  The Woodhaven Residents' Block Association collected non-perishable food items, blankets, shirts, can openers, pet food, flashlights and other items for the relief efforts.

We also collected funds for the affected communities.  The residents and friends of Woodhaven made generous financial contributions.  All the proceeds went to the hurricane victims and relief efforts.

We are no longer collecting donations as we are winding down our relief efforts, but we remain grateful to everyone who contributed.  To read more about the community's generosity, please click here.
